Description
Acer palmatum 'Peaches and Cream' is a striking Japanese maple with one of the most unique color patterns in the Acer family. In spring its stunning multi-hued, reticulated leaves display a blend of soft pink hues set against a creamy backdrop, with bright green veins that create a vivid contrast. These change to green-gold in summer, then to yellow-orange in autumn.
Reaching a height of up to 10 feet with a similar spread, this small upright tree is perfect for providing a focal point in smaller gardens or as a beautiful accent in larger spaces. To protect its vibrant coloration, provide afternoon shade.
Whether planted as a solitary specimen or grouped with other plants, 'Peaches and Cream' is a standout choice for gardeners seeking to infuse vibrancy into their landscapes.

Care
Sun Needs:
Full sun/part shade. For all Japanese Maples it’s important to think about light exposure: Too much light can damage delicate leaves. Too little light, and some of the more colorful varieties will take on an attractive greenish tone, but not the brilliant fall colors. For best color, most maples need a location with part day's sun or at least high light.
Soil/Water Needs:
Moist, organically rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Prefers consistent moisture: Mulch will help retain moisture. Don't let soil dry out, nor become waterlogged.
