DAHLIAS 101: Winter Care & Spring Planning

Whether you're new to Dahlias or a longtime grower, this free workshop will help you cultivate beautiful blooms in your garden and connect with a dedicated group of East Bay gardeners.

The San Leandro Dahlia Society will share their love of these showy plants, along with their history and a slide show of the many different forms and sizes.

Then they'll present a hands-on demonstration to show you how to dig, divide, and store your Dahlia plants during the winter months.

You'll also learn tips for purchasing tubers for spring planting and preparing your garden, plus information on the group's spring tuber sale.
