Free Workshop: Plant A Victory Garden

We are thrilled to welcome Andrea Gorham and Renata Browne from Tandi Family Farms on Saturday, March 22nd from 1:00-2:00pm for a special workshop on how to plant your own Victory Garden.

Sharing this historic style of edible gardening is part of Tandi Family Farm's mission as a San Leandro based non-profit. Their community-centered projects are actively helping East Bay residents to grow more food in their own backyards.

Andrea and Renata will share thoughtful perspectives on planning your Victory Garden and techniques to help you cultivate a variety of popular vegetables in smaller spaces. They'll also demonstrate how to using planting containers such as grow bags, which we'll have for sale at the nursery.
