Lavender angustifolia is commonly known as English Lavender and is the one most often used in cooking and for decorative use. Prized for its aromatic leaves, fragrant flower spikes of varying shades of purple and the classic, sweet lavender scent. Long flower spikes make it excellent for cutting. Deer resistant, drought tolerant and a magnet for bees and butterflies! 'Hidcote' has abundant blooms with long lasting scent, compact form and lovely dark purple flowers.
