Lavender stoechas is commonly known as Spanish Lavender, Butterfly Lavender or French Lavender and comes in a variety of colors and sizes. Prized for their elegant, 'winged' bracts atop impressive, extended blooms, aromatic foliage and ability to handle the heat better than other lavender varieties. Deer resistant, drought tolerant and a magnet for bees and butterflies! 'Otto Quast' is a compact variety that forms a dense shrub with gray-green leaves and dark purple flowers and light purple "wings." The flowers are not meant for human consumption.

Lavender is comprised of 47 different species, each with its own unique flower, foliage and distinct aroma. A favorite among gardeners and a wonderful plant for our climate. Evergreen, pollinator magnet, drought tolerant and deer resistant make this a gorgeous addition to all types of gardens.
