Description

Lavandula x intermedia is a hybrid, often called Lavandin, that offers cold-hardiness and heat tolerance! These look similar to English Lavender but tend to be taller, growing in compact mounds. The loose spikes of flowers are highly aromatic with one of the strongest scents among lavenders. Deer resistant, drought tolerant and a magnet for bees and butterflies! 'Sensational' is an easy-to-grow variety that shows off unusually large deep purple flower spikes held high above foliage on a compact form. The contrast with the silver foliage is gorgeous.
