Description
The Meyer Lemon is thought to be a cross between a lemon and an unknown orange variety. The combination resulted in a less acidic, sweeter lemon and has become the number one citrus sold worldwide. "Improved" refers to a virus-free, California tested variety that does very well in our area.
The dwarf variety is perfect for container gardening, while the semi-dwarf variety can be pruned to shape and size and grown in a container or in the ground. With fragrant blooms, deep, glossy green leaves and continually bearing fruit, this will provide year round interest in your garden or home.
Fragrant, long-blooming citrus trees are perfect for the Northern California garden. Their evergreen nature provides rich green color all year round. Not to mention the abundant and delicious fruit you will harvest.
